they look pretty bad in my opinion. ive also heard people say that they can get rocks caught in them and only add to the damage.
if youre really concerned there is a clear 3m film some people use. you cant tell its there but it protects the car wonderfully from chips.
allright, i found it. its called invica-shield
expensive, but worth it!

i bought my car with the bra on it and took it off that day, kept it in my garage.
I recently had a minor wreck and it messed up the front bumper pretty bad.... so now its back on to cover up the damage.... other than that they just look plain sick... dont get one, get that 3m stuff like above, you can only see the edges where it ends, you cant really tell its on the car...

I own one for my firebird, they really aren't mean't to be left on everyday. Driving around with them on in the rain or snow will cause damage to your paint. I really only use mine if i have to make a long trip on the highway to keep the junk off the paint. Other than long trips i would keep it off.Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird M5:
Borla Cat Back Exhaust, K&N Air Filter, SLP cold air induction, Hurst Competition Plus Shifter, Lou\'s Short Stick, Mallory , S 17\" Z06 wheels, 3.42 gears, Auburn Posi

I agree with everyone else. I had one on my car for a while and when I took it off the paint up front was discolored a little.1999 Silverado- Bagged, colormatched and rollin on stock chrome 16\'s
Make love not war, hell do both, get married

I'll agree with the paint cracking. My front end was all chipped up (a lot of highway driving). So I bought one to cover it up to make it look better and it worked. But when I took it up, it ate up the paint down to the metal. Well I planned on getting it redone so I didn't care much, it's purpose was just to cover it up. Now my car is painted and I only use the bra when I travel long distances on the highway to help with rocks and highway debreis. So my thought would be if you're using the bra to cover up something, it'll do the trick, but the condition of the spot you're covering will only get worse till you fix it properly.

Hi I have the invinca-shield on my car (and the starter of those threads posted above). It has worked out perfect and is Warranted for 5 years! Some parts are a pain to install tho.

I had one for my Z24 (looked sweet with it on) and my mom has one on her Jetta.
It seems she never has it on her car when she hits a rock :(
I am considering geting one for my car, but only using it for long drives in crappy area's .~chris~ 98 Cayenne red Camaro 3800 A4, 3:08, T tops Borla cat-back, wisper lid K&N, Bilstine shocks, Dunlops all around.
AOL IM: chevyboyz24
