  • Badge Removal ?

I was wanting to remove my rs badges on the sides and rear of my car.

What is an easy way to do this?

Will it damage the paint behind them?

Can i remove them myself or should I take it to someone to do it?

    thx for any info

Take a blowdryer to them on high heat for about 2 minutes (each). Once they are heated up, peal them back slowly. If they are being stubborn, use some more time with the blowdryer.

Fishing line works well too when you've got the badge heated up! Just take the fishing line taught in your hands as if it were really big floss or something, then strip the badge away from behind.

Mail them to me when you remove them. They would look good on my car.

I will pay you a few dollars for them.

I took your advise and heated my rear badge and when it came off it left a bad mark. Because the idiot who put it on used like a hot glue instead of the adhesive tape or whatever so now i have a bad paint mark.

im jus glad i took the back one off first and not the sides.

ne ideas of what i should do now?

Yeah, either keep the badges on or find a good paint shop.

I think a few coats of cleaning wax might take care of that......
