Which dish soap do you guys use before using a claybar
Does it really matter which one you use? I'm sure some are better than others...i searched and didn't see any specific brands, just that you should use dish soap to strip the wax.
Which soap do you guys use before you claybar?

When you are talking about taking off wax, its really not about the *Type* of dishsoap as it is about the amount. I use a 3 gallon bucket when I wash my car. For dishsoap, I used 2 drops of dishsoap for a whole bucket of water. A little bit goes a long way. Its best to use as little as you can, because dishsoap isn't all that great for your paint.
After I claybared, I rinsed my bucket and the car real well. Then refilled the bucket with normal carwash soap, and gave the car a real good washing. Then rinse, and dry. After I was my car, I usually let it set over night before I wax, just to make sure I don't keep running into water drops coming out of trim and stuff. After its all dry, give it a good coat of polish, and a few good coats of wax and you are good to go.
