  • question about painting air vents

i popped off the circular air vent thing that has the little switch to open and close the vents, the actual things that open and close are still in the car. how do i paint this piece? is there a way to take off the switch in the middle of it? when painting it, should i do it like everything else, and use primer first, then paint, then clear coat?
i've been painting the speaker grill covers like that and it's turning out nicely, but the vent thing didn't come out too good, i'm gonna have to redo that one. thanks

make sure you clean it well before you primer and paint since it's touched by your fingers a lot probly. I'll probly pay somebody to do my stuff.
