  • Window Tint Adhesive?

I'm sure some of you guys have tried putting tint on yourself and maybe you could tell me what adhesive you used.

The window rubber seal caused my driver side window to peel a corner that is about 1.5 inch triangle. Not a big deal but it is annoying  The warranty does not cover it if it peels due to the window seal :(

Any ideas on an adhesive to put it back on (if I should even attempt...)? thanks

Tint has a self adhesive....not an additive.

have you tried bringing it back to the shop that did it & biotching about it? if that doesn't do it, bring it somewhere else & get it re-done...you're not going to be able to reapply it and still have it look decent. some clear double sided tape will hold it, but it'll look like a$$. just my $.02

when you install tint, like they said it has its own adhesive... u could probably try some soapy water to try to get it to stick again...

            what does your warrenty cover?

usually they replace tint for free, but charge for removal,

just make something accidentally happen to it that your warrenty covers,

any place that wont fix it are jerks.... got the best tint place in baltimore 5 minutes up the road :D
