Well I finally got some pics of my new bowtie I put on my hood. I've wanted to do this for longer than I can remember but finaly did it. I found someone on this board that would make me a decal large enough and at a good price. I know many of you are gonna scream rice because something like it has been done before on imports. But I think it looks good reguardless. These pics aren't the best but here they are, Tell me what you think
hmm...well I like the fact that its just sorta on there..y'know everything is always mirrored, but on the other hand you can only see it good from one side...its new and different so ya I kinda like it...is that paint or a Sticker....oh ya and you really need to bondo those holes in your grill ;)
Thanks for the replies, even the bad ones. I think it's one of the best looking things I've done on my car. These pictures honestly don't do it justice, it's something you have to see in person. Although those of you that don't like it now seeing it in person wouldn't change your mind. I was expecting the end on the fender to be parallel to the ground but like how it turned out. What I like is it somewhat looks like those stripes on the grand sport vette when your coming up on it then you find a bowtie attached :D I spent at least an hour positioning it on my hood before I decided to go with my original plan. People stare at it everywhere I go, not sure what they think though.
Nikon: Yeah it's a decal, when I first opened it I was skeptical about it being shiny but when I put it on I was like that looks like paint. And yes I know I need to get rid of those holes, they bother the crap out of me. And get a good grille in the openings.

Cut and paste, it should work then. As for the bowtie, I dont think it looks too bad either. The impt thing is that you like the way it turned out, cuz after all it is your car.
