I did the rear end replacement myself with help from some Canadian friends :D Had the rear end built in Canada also from someone that builds rearends/trans for 9 sec F-bodies. I think with cost of hardware/rear/fluids/etc. I paid about 300 USD. About the average that you can pick one up from most anywhere. Only difference was I had mine preped from someone else other than GM and also changed up all the brakes while there.
Chris- Thanks. Still needs many more coats of polish. Just never seems to be enough clear days for that (damn rain). I still need to swing by and also talk details about that thing you wanted. I'll try to send you some mail tonight!!
