I am getting new wheels an I am thinking about getting 20 inch chrome wheels. What do you guys think about dubs on a Camaro or Firebird? I think it will make it look unique and be one of a kinda in my town. Also what will this do to the handling of the car? How will the ride be with so little tire? And does anyone have any pics?

The ride is going to feel like absolute **** and it'll slow the car down alot. I also wouldn't be surprised if you got a little tire rub in the corners. Mainly it's not how big the wheel is in diameter but in width that helps your traction and handling. I would highly suggest against this. I have 17's on mine and I can feel like every rock and bump on the damn road. 20's are going to be exponentially worse.---<br />-\'95 3.4L M5 Camaro -
I personally don't like huge wheels. Anything bigger than 17 or 18 is to much for me. Not to mention those low profile tires aren't suppose to last any time at all, and as much as I burn out... [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] . Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought 18 was a really tight fit as it is? Wouldn't 20 fill up the entire wheel well not including the tires? Just something to think about. Ground effects and a sweet hood, if I had to get wheels I would go for 17in chrome something. Maybe SS wheels or something similar.

They can be made to fit with low profile tires but like StockV6Cam said, the ride will feel like crap. It may be worth it to you though, it wouldn't be as bad as 20's would be and those C5 rims are pretty sweet. If you get 20 inch wheels, make sure they are gold - and add the curb feelers for that special finishing touch of class.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
