hey everyone. my car's getting painted within a week and i can't make up my mind! should i get black or pewter metallic? black is too delicate. i'm 16 so i have all the time in the world to be pampering my car. thanks for your vote [img]smile.gif[/img] .

get the pewter metalic, its way nicer, and easier to keep clean, plus when its dirty it still looks nice and clean. pewter metallic... it's the best color i've ever had for keeping clean and, atleast in my town, you don't see a lot of cars in that color...Comment

Well, Pewter is definitely much easier in the "does not show the dirt department." But black is the definitive Firebird color (BTW, the last Firebird produced will be a black WS6 Trans Am). And I'm still very partial to metallic blue (color of my Firebird #1.
But all in all, if I had any color to choose from, I'd get black and go with gold accents.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

mine is pewter metallic. if i was going to get it repainted it would be the electron blue. it looks really good. for a factory color, i like the pewter. it's easy to repaint scratches.Comment

black is awesome...mine's black and i love it. the only downside, i can wash it on a sunny day, and it'll look real nice. maybe 2 hours later it'll be dirty again, either dust or waters spots or whatever, EVERYTHING shows up on black. pewter seems easier to clean, and does look pretty nice. post some pics if u get it donemcG<br />aim=endlive<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/endlive\" target=\"_blank\">97 firebird</a> ~ wreckedComment

Go with the dark blue that is on the newer firebirds and accent it in silver, that color is bad *** , and is dark, but not black.Comment
