  • My new battery cover!!!

    Today I finally got around to making the battery cover that I have been thinking about for awhile. Here are some pics of it. Enjoy.

              nice car m8, I only wish I could afford something as nice as that....but by the time I can there wont be any new ones :( and why dont you post here on how you made it?? piece of stainless, and some rub-on letters?? :D

                I went to Lowes and bought a piece of 8"x18" aluminum. Then I cut it to 8"x10" so that it would fit. It is held on with industrial strength velcro. I then just polished it and applied the decal.

                  That look awesome. Your whole engine compartment looks sweet, its all clean and pretty.

                    if that T/A was mine,I would paint those engine covers "pontiac blue"(I know, its a chevy engine, but its in a pontiac)then I would get some blue wire looms that would look good IMO....
                    .....maybe I'm just weird :D

                        Which springs did you get? I got the G2 springs put on about 2 weeks ago and other than having to relearn driving I love them.

                          Whats with all the shinyness underneath your actual hood? You should sand your hood props and polish them!! That'd be a real nice touch for that engine bay. Or are they? I can't tell from the pic. Anyways looks great! I'll be doin that if I have the time.
