They have t-tops and rag-tops. But what about a targa top? Dose anyone make a kit or something for that?

hmmmm, I am sure that it can be done.... Someone has HAD to have done it.
The only thing you would have to do is reinforce the body to compensate for the braces you are going to eliminate. I think the hardest part is going to be getting the parts you need to do it.
You are gonna need the pillars from a car that had t-tops, maybe even the t-tops themselves....
Then you'll have to cut the same shape out of your roof, except all the way across instead of two separate panels....
Then you are gonna have to figure out how to get the handle/locking assenblies off of the t-tops and secure tham to the panel you just cut out....
Seems like a bit of work.
After all thet is done you are gonna have to get subframe connectors and maybe exen that x-brace that the convertibles come with and install it. Maybe a 6-point cage would help keep the body from flexing too....
Hope this helps....
Good luck to you!
MI\'m getting too old to have to choke the **** out of you

It can be done. I am sure its the same for the 4th gens. A guy on the Camaroz28.com forum was checking into it and it was going to run him around 5k with all the special reinforcements that are needed. You can't just take the ones out of the t-tops.
Therefore, there is no kit. I am sure it has been done though. hmm... just a though.. corvettes come with targa tops.. maybe you can get their reinforcements and slightly modify them to fit in the f-bodies.
Otherwise it can be done without the reinforcements but if you hit about 90 and all of a sudden your windsheild bends over and smacks you in the face... it will not be pretty.
