OK. new question for the board. Something prob. really simple, i just have no clue. I recently bought a 97 Firebird. I was wondering how i could tell if the ground effects on it are aftermarket, or if it is the W86 package.

hmmm... I'm a [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img] but I believe w86 is gfx and dual exhaust,maybe more?

Check the label on your door to see all the RPO codes. If W68 is there, then they're factory. If it's not, they're aftermarket.

Let us know either way. It is always nice to hear from another W68 owner. For 97, W68 included fog lights in addition to the GFX and dual exhaust.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

That firebird just looks so sweet. Love that package on the 97.
