so there is way to get new gages that will read higher miles. Mine says 120 i want it to be like 150 or 160 so it looks faster. Can't the dealer recalibrate it, reprogram the computer and let me purchase a V8 gage??

You might want to check out GMS's web site. They offer a 200 mph kit for GM F-bodies. I don't know if it will work with our v6's, but it might be worth a shot.

Actually there is on Z28's. My friend 96 topped out @ 118. I think the new ones top @ 130 because of the tires.

Also the 200 mph guage cluster does work for V6's
