yellow, actually when I got pulled over for having mine red the cop told me that having that signal clear was illegal since there had to be a yellow reflector of some sort, your pretty safe with clear or yellow if you want to keep it legal...JUST NOT BLUE!! cops love to get you for that ****....

When I got pulled over for a blue neon license plate cover, he told me you can only have red for braking, yellow for turn signles, and white for backing up for the back of the car, and on the front, White for headlights, yellow(amber) for turn, and that is the ONLY colors you can have on the front or back of your car, and good reason too, because that way other cars will know for sure if your signling to turn or brake or whatever and doen't distract other drivers(I don't see how ricers get away with their blue shaded headlights). So I can see their point in all this(for once). Then: 1997 3.8L Red Firebird~SOLD!~<p>Now: 2002 Atlantic Blue Dodge Ram 1500

again, you're in ga and i'm in tx, but here we use the federal standards and you must have...
TURN SIGNALS IN REAR: red or amber (if amber, you can have a clear lens with amber bulb, but for red a white bulb must be behind a red lens)
TURN SIGNALS IN FRONT: white or amber (you can have a clear lens with amber bulb)
BRAKE LIGHTS: white bulb behind a red lens
REAR REFLECTOR: anything added to the rear must be or reflect red
SIDE MARKER OR FENDER LAMP: amber or white
there are only two bulb colors authorized for use by the USDOT. it is a white bulb and an amber bulb.
any lights mounted to the rear, like our rear quarter panel lamp must be red. any lights mounted to the front must be white or amber. everything else is prohibited unless outlined in chapter 49 of the code of federal regulations.

you can have the neon license plate, BUT it has to be red AND you still have to have the white license plate lamp (that doesn't emit a glare) making your plate visible from at least 50 feet.
(I don't see how ricers get away with their blue shaded headlights). So I can see their point in all this(for once).
as long as those headlamps do not have any tinting on the bulb itself, they are legal. if the light transmission is what makes the funky colors then they are legal.
