I hear that they are a pain when it rains. Is it actually supposed to do anything other than shade half of the back window which is already shaded? Not trying to flame, just wondering if it actually has a purpose other than sucking 100 bucks out of your wallet?

I know it is a bad pic and is hard to appreciate the SW, but that was the only pic that I took of my car with it.
Yes, WAS!!! After 3 years with it……….now it is somewhere on I-80 California. It came off one day while I was driving. Thank GOD no car was behind me and that it finally landed at the shoulder of the Hway.
My car doesn’t know what a garage is. I guess, after 3 years in the heat of Sacramento the glue finally gave up. :(
