  • Dunno if this should go in here or not.......

    Looking for comments.

This is the current set up:

    http://bbbracing.com/12secondv6/100_0113.JPG

I was thinking about relocating the bottles to the trunk.

What I would like to do is built up the bottom of the trunk with a 6-8 inch high shelf.......

Carpet it of course, something similar to the current carpetted board.

Mount the bottles in a fashin so the handles are pointing towards the front of the car.

They would be spaced out significantly due to the trunk lock being in the middle.

I don't want to go on the rear shelf, to obvious.

If I can get the correct shelf height I want the tops of the bottles/ handles to enter the trunk area where someone could look in the rear window and see them.... but not the complete bottles.

This is kinda hard for me to describe... but I think I'll try it.

    I think it will be:
    prettier
    stealthier
    help with traction
    help with weight relocation
    clean up interior compartment

Comments, both positive and negative please....

    In advance.... thanks!

i like the idea. i understand completely what your describing. i think it will look real cool. now the only thing i could think of is the if you want to have the top of the bottles to come out and i guess hang over, your going to have to tilt the bottles and my thought is they might be too long. the bottom might hit the back side of the trunk. your just going to have to see. i hope you got what im saying.

There is also a possibility of a third bottle being added in the middle..... due to higher shot levels coming soon. :D

i would sit the third bottle down in the middle so its sort of hidding. i was watching trucks and he has a project going called copperhead with a 572 crate motor and he had a custom nitrous system built with like 200 or 300 something shot built onto the intake manifold then he had a secret 175 shoot built into the bottom of the manifold as a secret shoot with only two cylinods(spelling) showing which anyone would think its just for the visible system. that reminds me of you. :D

only questin in the cargo area will you have enough room to mount them in the "ideal" location. I forgot the degree angle and the nozzle facing the motor?

also if you do do it put in a passenger seat looks too go-kartish.

Nope, gonna be in the trunk area.

I think I can get the desired 15 degree angle with some time and patience

                  I'll keep you all updated
