• ~6 month detailed Zaino update, Maybe I hit the limit?(1,500mile trip & autocross)

Good news for some, might be my last zaino update

IF YOU CAME IN HERE TO BASH ZAINO(like say its sucks and is the worst stuff ever without ever have used it) STAY OUT OF THIS THREAD!!!! GO START A THREAD ABOUT ZAINO BEING OVERHYPED, OVERPRICED CRAP.

A 6 month Zaino update on my car.

I applied 3 coats of zaino back in February... it is now august. Car still looks great for the most part, thing I am noticing, water is not beading as well on the hood, and there are some noticeable water spots.

Car still has alot of shine and looks great, but the hood and roof are not quite beading as well as they used, to, doors and other panels are doing great. maybe the Florida sun and elements are starting to take their tolls on my car. Hood doesn't have quite the smoothness feel.

Either way haven't washed the car since mid July, I took these pics August 8th. I had driven to Key West and back, and to gainesville and back, then to Tavares Florida for an autocross, so about 1500 miles in 9 days.

btw just updated my site with my full update of pics and some of my feelings over the last 6 months on my site

    http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/514505/3

I think I am going to go do a thorough detailing of the car.

Hopefully by next February my townhouse will be built and I will start on with a bi-weekly zaino treatment in my 2-car garage to see what this tons of layering affect is like.

Maybe even look into some other products to top it off. But for the moment durability and cleanliness is key.

\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"

Wow. I need to take pics of my car. I have not been updating it as much as you have, but my TurtleWax Platinum Ultra Gloss has been on my car for 4, almost 5 months and still looks like that.

my zaino still looks great, after i apply the detail spray to it. i did it about 6 months ago also. water doesnt quite bead as well as it did, but the car still looks amazing after a wash and detail spraydown. still smooth too.

            i swear by the stuff.

yeah most of my car still is smoot and beads but the hood and roof aren't doing it as well as like the tops of the doors and next to the hatch.

NExt time around I am going to start using Z6, and maybe an upkeep coat of Z2 once in the next 6 monhts or so. Depends how lazy I get.
