  • Never seen this hood before

    Looks like the turbine in front of a jet engine. Is it a ram air hood or just some kind of heat extraction hood? Or both?

        Dont they call that the rocket launcher hood. Ive seen before.

                I honestly don't mind the hood.

                I don't see why it screams "ricer", other than it being non-functional. I would prefer it to be functional, but whaddayagonnado?

                  the only reason i got that instead of a fuctional ramair hood was because with the airbox assembly and all that, it'd have been way more than the insurance company was giving me to spend. my dad's got some friends that do a lot of car work, so i might eventually talk to them to see what i might be able to do to make it fuctional. it'd be a nice project.

                      I've just seen it on alot of rice around my area that's all... that red one looks alot better than the black for some reason...

                        hm... well, once i get my car out of the shop i'll get some pics up and we'll see if i like it. if not, i'll just sell it and get a used ramair hood.

                              it can be functual, you have to buy a kit to do it. check this out, 2nd pic on the first page you can see the air box that allows it to be functional.
