OK, i have a 95 firebird and i wanna make my turning signal lights kinda bright, brighter than right now (i have the stock lights that comes with the car) and i was wondering what kinda of bulb i need.... also i have the Sylvania headlights and i wanna see what other brighter ones there are..... Plus i'm gettin' foglights and i wanna know which ones are good
a yellow lens fog light is what he meant. Its more effective at doing what it's name was meant for, but style-wise, it looks old-school, except Lexus', those look good. Its up to you what you want. Driving light or foglights.
For me, whether it's driving or fog, I would prefer a white one. Most of the time, there is NO fog and its rare to have really thick fog here. What about people who dont' have fogs at all?? They just drive with their low beams on. So we can do the same thing. People turn them on for looks or to add more illumination. And either way they are aimed lower than the headlamps, the fogs especially will aim towards the side.
I just got some new bulbs for the headlamp and fogs to play with. Still debating to whether I should get the PIAA 1100x to play with.
I've tried many bulbs and in different colors from 55 watts to 100watts and so far I think the Silverstars are the best. Its by no means HID like or nothing, just more towards the white side. But the illumination on the ground cannot be beat by other bulbs that try to look whiter or HID like. I just bought a pair of 100watt Nokya Artic whites and it still can't beat the illumination of the Silverstars. I'm only going to put the Nokyas if I feel like "looking" kewl. I put some Hyperwhite fogs on and it's whiter and there is some slight flourescent effect, but not as bad as all the hyperwhite headlight bulbs I've tried.
