Got my new car recently ;)
So I get my car home, and screw off that dealer plate... only to figure out... I'm not unscrewing it from standard pre-made holes... I'm unscrewing it from my ground effects which they SCREWED IT INTO ARRRRGGG... It's not THAT big of a deal but you'd think they could be a bit more creative with their front plate than that.
#1. What should I use to fill those holes?... Just use puddey and touch-up paint or what?
#2. When I took off the front plate-holder thing... and cleaned the mud off from where it had gotten under, I noticed that there was a noticable difference between where the plate backing had been, and the surrounding paint. I ran my finger across it, it felt like tar or something. How can I get this off? Will clay bar get it all? I plan on ordering the Zaino kit today.
My bro suggested black silicone (mah car is black), but I know you can't paint silicone, so I don't want to put it in there, then find that it looks bad and be in a fix since I can't paint over it.
Anyone?.... It seems like someone on here must've had this problem or something similar.
