Total Job Time:.... I dunno.. way way too long.
Getting that foglight out and in was a lot more of a pain than I had anticipated.... that inner clip is crazy-hard to get on and off... I actually dropped it down in my front fascia (right term?)... lucky I could cram my hand down far enough to grab it.
Here's what I did
Took it off (duh)
Scrubbed the outside with dawn and a rough sponge to get mineral deposits and grime off
Took cue tips, used twisty-ties to put them on a hanger, and bent either the hanger, the cue tip, or both to reach where I needed in the fog lamp. I got it all nice and dry so I took it down to start putting it on. IT STARTED SHOWING CONDENSATION ON THE INSIDE AGAIN!!! I was like "wtheck?!?!" I went back up, used que tips again, then blew the inside with a hairblow drier for a long time.
Took it back down... right as I was starting to put it back on it started to rain. I was like "OH CRUD!!! the camera!!!" I had set up the camera with a tripod so I could take before and after shots.... and it was starting to get rained on. I finished it about 5 minutes before it started pouring, got the pictures, and got a chance to take some nice pics of beading water on mah hood .
TOMORROW = ZAINO TYME!
