  • Foggy Headlights??

Just a quick question...notice how the headlights on the 98+ camaro's always turn color and get foggy over time?? well what's the deal?? How does this happen and is it possible to fix?? thanks for the input ahead of time.....

Oh and if you've been following my car; got the vizage kit, got the 10-spoke ss rims, got the new chrome rectangle exhaust tips, got the chrome antenna, and yes....got the ww front air dam...just waiting for the paint issue to work out and it will all come together : )

nuttin u can do about that except get new lamps. I thought it was those hot running aftermarket bulbs I was using that caused it, but I got into a frt end accident last summer and got both replaced! Now it's new and clear.

whats not true? mine was foggy inside on lens and reflector. The lens had tiny cracks developing all over, I tried buffing it with no avail. I took a rag and the reflector got a bit clearer, but I can only reach so far in and I dont' know if it's possible to separate the lens and reflector....so I was SOL.

to take care outside of the lens you have to wet sand it, and build up the clear again with chemicals...for the inside try some of the eye-glass repair kit stuff....the things that fill in scratches.....slosh a little bit of that around inside the lens and you should look alot better....I personally just went and got new lights.....looks alot better

I have heard people say waxing/polishing them as normal lens helps...

As for zaino users a coat fo Z2.
