What should I do first...

Soon I'm getting a '96 Firebird (V6 3.8, 5spd) and I was wondering what appearance mod I should do first. Since I'm only 16 years old, I'm not really going to do many performance mods within the first two years. I may get the Flowmaster 80 series exhaust and a cold air intake, but thats it. So after that, I'm not really sure what I should do to the car. My dad and I are going to paint it, and I'll be supplying the money for new tires and rims (hopefully C5s or Z06s). Besides those, I'm stumped. What would you recommend me getting? As far as I know, the body is bone stock, with a few replaced peices after accidents. I was thinking maybe a big block hood, but I would need to buy this before painting it, and I'm not sure if I will have the money.

Also, I'm new here (but I've been reading the topics for a while), so if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it mods [img]graemlins/slap.gif[/img] .

the big block hood... mine is being painted right now actually. haven't seen it on the car yet. i've seen pics of it all over the internet and some look very very good and others look kinda strange. if you do get it, i recommend josh at ftpp.net (viper98885). just give ftpp a call and ask for him, he'll help you out. with shipping and everything, it came to a total of a little under $500 just so you know what you'd be spending.

but as far as other appearance mods, ever thought about a trans am hatch? or W68 kit?

What color you painting it? The first things I did when I got my maro was grillecraft grille and tinted the windows. I was 16 when I got mine. Stripes after you paint it might be a good idea, I love the was stripes look!! oo n I went with the C5's, I love them!! I agree with downey about the hatch n kit, they look awesome on birds.
