i backed my camaro into my sisters 97 Accord and banged up my LR QP and bumper. that is just enough to piss me off. i was wondering how hard it is to take these body panels off because i have done body work on my other cars just never on the maro. So how hard do y'all think it would be?!?
I did the exact same damage in the exact same spot, but backed into a tree instead. I had to hit the upper quarterpanel corner next to the spoiler too. It was a severe PITA doing the bodywork to get the factory curve back on the body.
Anyway, the rear valance and bumper come off with relative ease. Sanding, prepping, primering and painting is another story.
the left rear quater panel is metal and welded on. you cant take it off. i recommened you take it to a preffesional cause it would be a PITA. by the way. i did the same thing on my RR QP
Back QP would need to be precision cut to be removed. As for your bumper thats a piece of cake if its crack no choice but get a new one. It took me 5 days to fix my QP and yes it is PITA. If you align it wrong you will have a big gap between your trunk and panel that can be seen a mile away . I am giving up on QP trust me not worth it to fix yourself. But expensive to fix at the shop. So its your call really. How bad is it? If its not tht bad maybe you can pop it back out. Some pics would definately help
