I noticed that when I drive in the rain, the water drops on my rear window don't move. The window is covered in rain-x, so the water should just slide off. This means that there isn't any air flowing over the surface of the window.
Now does anyone know how much air glows over the spoiler? Would a taller spoiler give me more downforce in the back?
i really dont think you'll be going fast enough for a spoiler to make all that much difference...i think you should just leave it stock bro, or go with an SS or 3pc. RS spoiler
Uhm, actually the spoilers on our cars do help quite a bit at highway speeds and higher. If you really want to test it take yours off and go for a drive around 70 you'll feel the assend has less grip than with it. But going with anything taller like that RKSPort or WingsWest super spoiler is pointless and you'll never gain anything out of it.

I meant that by getting a taller spoiler, it wont really do much more than a stock spoiler already does, which in reality isnt too much otherwise they'd put spoilers on more cars than they really do...i mean heck corvettes are quicker than our cars, and they dont even got spoilers! ;)

Vettes don't have spoilers because they maintain a smaller profile than our cars do. Look at the size of their back bumper compared to ours. The drastic vertical cut at the bumper acts much in the same way a spoiler does for us.

ok, but spoilers on our cars, more than anything, are for appearance, not performance. I know of MANY guys who have MUCH faster and higher performaning cars than ours, and MANY of them do not have spoilers. its more of a cosmetic thing for us, but whatever...its not worth arguin over, thats just my opinion on it i guess.
