Just a quick question......which is better???? I've used both but I've been told that the wash n wax is better for the paint. However, I just finished washing my car (Not a 97 firebird anymore, now its a 2002 WS6) with the wash n wax and there is a very slight residue on the glass and some of the rubber moldings. Besides that, the rest of the car is beautiful and looks much better than using just car wash concentrate. So is wash n wax the best option for regular washing or should I stick to car wash?

The wash and wax is better for light coloured vehicles, the residue of the wax will show up in black and dark blue.-Tony Ridino
\'96 Camaro (Black)
3.8L V6
Euros - Halogens - Dynomax Exhaust - Racing Wires - Wings West OEM Body Kit - Windshield lettering - Wings West Billet Grille - Euro Tail-lights - Red Carbon Fiber Letter Moldings - Custom Gauges - Clear Corners & Bumber Lenses
Email me at: ooga_labooga@hotmail.com

Most car washes do contain waxes in them even if it doesn't say "Wash n wax".
If I were you, I'd wash with something that doesn't have wax in it and then re-wax it every time.... since any car wash or rain strips waxes away.« Red Firebird »

I would do what I did today. I went to a mikes car wash paid 10$ for wash, wheel bright, underbody, then told them that there were a few spots that didnt get cleaned even though it clean and they sent me back through again and then i told them i got wash , wax/clearcoat, rust inhibator. Then go home and apply full hand wax!

Okay. If you look in my other cardomain. The one for the camaro, you can see my chevelle, well anyhoo its primered and ready for paint. Also, I didnt choose it, my father did, he said I just wanted somthing diffrent, well he got that because I dont think there are any other gayish looking Muscle Cars. Oh well, Im fixing to get the tires for my 20's and put a chamelion or black paint job on it.
