  • Z28 gauge cluster/dokota digital

ive just installed a 2000 Z28 guage cluster into my 97 camaro, everything works fine, of course, but not the tach. I have the dokota digital tach adapter and i just have one question. Where is the best place to install this peice of equipment? Under the hood, or find the tach wire under the dash. Thanks for any help on this subject

There is a good spot under the dash on the passenger side....There is a connector for the tach coming through the firewall and you can easily conceal the adaptor behind the kickpanel. The tach wire is the white wire on the blue connector I believe.
