Alright, I have been reading this section of the message board for some time now. Well, it seems to be a common question about where to purchase a WS6 Ram Air hood. Wouldn't it be easyier, and cheaper, to just go to a Firebird/Trans Am salvage yard and find a WS6 hood there? So my question is, is this possible? Are the Trans Am WS6 hoods compatable with the Firebird?
Thanks
they are hard to find in yards, most places know what they get and when the hoods are good, they're sold as whole front "ls1 front end" conversion kits, for the most money.
but yes, its 100% bolt on, and since is a composite material, it will either, A be fine, or B be cracked. so very little chance of fitting wrong, (if its not cracked)
Ryan.
