Had a very minor rear end and the white paint from
this guy's Buick was on my bumper and rear quarter
panel. I used a $1.00 bottle of a woman's nail polish
remover and it got all the Buick's paint off my black
camaro and did not affect my black paint.
His insurance company gave me $400...So I netted
$399.
I would be careful with using nail polish remover, it probably would take a lot for it to damage the clear coat though but just be cautious. With stuff like that you want to use rubbing compound. Any grade should do really. Get a terry cloth and rub a little bit on there, back and forth or a swirling motion will work but if you rub too hard you can leave small surface scratches you might be able to see in the light. So go easy, hope all goes well.
