  • Excess mounting sheetmetal after !seats

Alright, I couldn't figure out where else to put this ...

I've removed my backseats, and back seatbelts. And, some of you (not me) have removed spare tires ... etc, you get the idea. Personally, I have a rollbar in the car, so the rear is useless even if I had the seats.

Anyone cut out (zipwheel or shears might do it) the spare mounting metal back there? There must be at least a fair chunk of metal used that the rear seatbelts and rear seats bolt to. Anyone done it and weighed it? I mean, heck, I'm not using it anymore ... and in my book, if it's not being used, it gets cut off and thrown in the shed.
