  • Keeping the ends of rolled exhaust tips looking good!!!

Hey guys, I have single rolled tips on my car. Kinda like the SS ones look. They're just the cheapo pep boys ones. The exhaust makes them dirty on the bottom though. Every week i'll touch up the rolled part with chrome metallic paint but after a day or 2 of driving the exhaust gets stuck on it again and i can't clean it off. Is there something better i should be using, or know about?

mine arent rolled but im having the same problem i bought them brand new and b4 a week the inside started getting so dirty that i couldnt see the chrome. Not even a brillo pad will take it off.

my exhaust tips do the same thing. i don't really think there is much you can do out it except clean it all the time. luckily mine clean up real nice since they're stainless.

Mine are stainless and clean up real easy. Maybe you'll just have to get some stainless steel ones so you can keep them clean. I use mothers polish on mine.

It's just carbon from the engine. There's really nothing todo to prevent it. Just gotta clean it off every so often
