Finally after a little over a month after my ordr was placed my SLP H.O hood is coming in. I can't wai to put it on even though I have to drive around for a week without it painted so It will finish curng. SLP has had these hoods on backordr because they moved part of there operations from Canada to NJ where the ret of the company is. They now have thse hoods going so mine should be here friday or by the beginnig of next week. Can't wait to et it painted and post some pics cu it will look really aggressive with my Wings West body kit.

awesome. i had ordered my H.O. hood back during the middle of summer. more than a month later and it was still on back order. i cancelled, and now have a raptor hood for less money.

I'm not sure where you got the Raptor hood cheaper than the SLP hood Snuffalofogus. Because the ones I've seen from countless selers were around 800 or so. I got my SLP from afterthoughts auto.com for 645. It sux now cuz the woman from there called me again today and told me shw eas wrong about my hood coming in for the beginning of next week. It was the Ultra Z Camaro hoods that have been sent out. She however did tell me that I'm #5 on the list for the H.O hood and they will be sent out after Vsday on the 16th. Just a piece of advice....you don't have to drive around with the hood on for a week.....that's [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img]

i got my raptor hood used off a guy on ls1.com for 500.
also, shop around, check ebay daily. theres a specific seller "horsepower1" that sells anything and everything from slp.
ive seen firehawak hoods go for under 600, slp hoods for around 400.
the deal is they go for so cheap cause they are "damaged" from shipping. It would prolly cost you 100 bucks more at the paintshop to get it fixed, but you still pay dirst cheap for the hoods, and shipping is only 99 bucks

i drove around with my raptor unpainted for about a week, not because it was "curing". but i had an appointment for the end of the week to get it painted, and the weekend before to put it on...
