    is it okay to NOT paint a fiberglass hood?
    i want to get something a lil more agressive for my 00 camaro. and if i get the money for the hood probably wont have the money for paint at teh same time!

    Most come gelcoated, and fiberglass does not rust, so I don't see any problems.

      just buy the hood, and save for the paint....

        well, it obviously doesnt look as good as if it were painted. if you dont care about that then go for it. i'd buy it and then save for paint. when i had enough id paint it and put it on.

          thats exactly what im doing. I just ordered the SS hood, and now im savinf for the paint..... I also got the groudn effects and SS spoiler

            just dont put it on your car until u have the money for paint. that would be rice. but it will be fine to sit in your garage

              unfortunatly i don't have the luxury of a garage. so it would have to be a 'swap' so to say. sell the stock hood, buy the aftermarket hood and install in its place.

                I had to put my hood on right away. Mine doesn't look too bad, except for the fact that the hood is white and my car is black. Hopefully everything will be black this summer. The only problem I have is that it gets dirty really easy, and takes some work to clean. I usually use like some 409 or Orange Blast cleaner on it.

                  just save up till you can afford to buy it and paint it at the same time. it looks like Sh!t if you just put a gel coated hood on. do it right.

                    go on ebay and look for one cheap and with the matching color of your car.
