I was wondering how hard or easy it is to get it off the plastic, metal tool box and roof rack. I know on the glass and paint you use a clay bar, but what about mirrors, moldings, weatherstrips, etc. Don't they just come right off, either with soap or silicone spray or WD-40?? BTW, it's not my car so I can't try it to see if it works.

you can try using windex, spray the whole car, let it sit, scrub it and do it again...at work we have an overspray (acid) wash that works great...you might be able to find some at an autoparts store ;)

Basically, i think spraying some silicone and scrub it a little with a tootbrush or rag will make the paint come right off of plastic and rubber, whether it's smooth or textured. I wish I can try it, but it's not my car to try it on...
