I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find some diagrams or directions on how to install some neons under my dash. wiring it into the ciggarette lighter or power outlet seems like a good idea with a switch in the ash tray.
Also, anyone know where I can find on of these switches?

i know the absolute best way to hook up the switches. all you do is cut the orange power and black ground to the cig lighter, then tie in the power to the switch along with the ground and stick i INTO the cig lighter!!! its the PERFECT fit for those round rocker switches. i got a red led rocker switch that lights up a neon under driver and passenger foot area, under driver a passender seat (for rear passengers to have red feet then a FAATY 3 foot neon that runs the horizontal lengs of my hatch that glows on my 2 12" subs and it also controls the 5 red glowing AC Vents that i did....ac vents look tight but the red bulbs im using have melted my fingers too manytimes and arent bright enough for me...thinking of switching to more expensive led pods or possibly the short little neons but they are freakin 18 bucks for like 4 inches...what a friggin rip off...anyhoo neons are fun if done right they will render you un-ricer-ish as well so just dont go overboard like me.......i love the way you flick that switch and BOOOM!!!! your car looks like its filled with molten lava! complete with molten lava people inside!!!! its great...especially when you drop something at night and need to find it and those little rearview mirrors dont help and your grasping everywhere and just cant find the damn thing and you get so pissed off and FINALLY you hit the switch and BOOM! molten lava kicks on and there it is, the blockbuster card you were looking for for like 5 minutes....:-D

Here's a diagram for wiring up a few neons to an illumated rocker switch.
Switches with lights built into them will have 3-connections on the switch (Ground, Positive, and the Source-which goes to whatever is being switched such as the neons). Like others are saying, tap into the cigarette lighter wires which will be Orange(+) and Black(-).
Also, when you cut the cigarette plug off of the Neon's wiring, make sure to determine which wires on the neons are (+) or (-).
i necer thought of cuting the cig lighter wires for power good ideer

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
