Michigan weather sucks. Whats a good way to keep your car looking good during winter?
I just washed my car today and the water just froze on my car. And it sucks waxing your car in the cold.. Any better way to keep my car looking good? Also, I have chrome rims and whats a good way to keep it from rusting?

i wax my car in the winter every dry sunny day, and its just that simple, u have to work to make it look (and last) cause that salt is a killer, i llive mid-state NY, we get all the seasons, rather harsh. Right now my red bird looks like it was pooped on.. salt splats and streaks.. scarey, i gotta wash it soon

      good luck

Last winter I washed my car like everyday, haha. Now if the dirt on it isn't too bad i'll take a nice cotton cloth and just wipe certain areas. Of course there are areas that you won't be able to clean all of. My rims are polished aluminum. A habit I got into was everytime I got gas I wipe them off there. Your rims shouldn't rust should they. Why not put the stock ones back on during winter? A car cover will probably just get moisure under neath it and smear dirt even more.
