• Color Of Calipers

1)Red w/Silver Letters
2)Black w/Silver Letters
3)Polished w/Black Letters

Alright I have to ask what everyone thinks about this.. My plan for my car is to have a silver and black combo! My appearance list list is below.

-20% Window Tint
-18"x9.5 Polished C5 Rims
-Cross-Drilled/Slotted Rotors
-Black Billet Grille
-Clear Sidemarkers
-SS Hood
-Black 35th Anniversary Racing Stripes
-Tail Light Blackouts
-Third Brake Light Cover
-Custom Black Leather Interior

I was talking with some people and they said that I should do the red calipers instead of the black calipers... I know that Vettes come stock with the red calipers so it wouldnt be all that different but Im not sure what I want to go with.. Please vote

I've been thinking of this for awhile and I decided on black. My car is red so I think black will look good. Since your car is black, red will look good on there. I'm not really a fan of red on red....well I haven't really seen to many pics of the combo.

So I say go red :D

i would say do polished with black letters.

Your C-5's have a nice open space and you drilled slotted are already a nice silver color, so I would say definitly polished.

trust me on this one... my friend polishes and paints calipers, and he did his with his NBM with chrome ZO's and it looks sweet on his SS.

He is currently doing mine, I have a SSM with polished ZO's and I have a feeling they will look awsome.
I got stuff...<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum\" target=\"_blank\">http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum</a>

black will give you the subtle, cool look. red will look out of place if youre not using red anywhere else on the car, and the red silver combo was never a favorite of mine anyway. silver would pretty much just blend in. thats why i say black.

my vote is black with silver, although i think the polished would look really nice if done right, it would be waaay to time consuming to do it

GM didn't make silver Camaros. Although they did make Pewter ones which is what you have

Out of those three options I would go with number 2 (black w/silver).

I have a Pewter camaro and I am going with Blue w/white letters.

Also, Ecklers has some good brake caliper paint if you are looking for some. Here is the link to black:

To find other colors go to the top level of their page and search for "caliper paint" and it will take you to links to all available colors. $39.99 is a good price too.
