Does anyone know where I could get LED's for my tailights and rear turn-signals? I want them to look a little more translucent, but not too much.

If anyone has done this to their car, could ya let me know how you like it? I saw it on a grand am, and thought it was pretty cool lookin.

          are these FMVSS compliant?

i like the LED lights on trucks and the new bimmers. they are really bright and require very little power to run them.

amber and red are fairly cheap. clear LEDs are way too expensive.

the one for the cavaliers are the ones for our cars....its all the same bulb its just for marketing and ****...most popular cars and such....and ya domestic those lights are sweet....you seen the LED motorcycle lights that make designs and ****?....oh btw apparently the LED lights are safer...I was at a car show like 2 years ago when the introduced the the LED taillights in the caddies....they turn on like 1-2/10'ths of a second faster...they had some calculation and everything but at like 60mph it gave you an extra 50-100ft to stop...the person behind you that is...they tirn on faster and the way the image goes form your eyes to your brain and such.....cool either way..but ya the ones for the cavalier are the ones im talkin about...as long as it says 3157...not 4157, that was a typo ;)

sorry to dredge up an old thread, but every single one of those works. i would advise not using the sylvania "fitment guide" link; instead just take the old bulb out and use the "cross-reference" link. i ended up having to cut wires (for one because i was impatient) to be able to put my new LED turn signal bulbs in, got the bayonet instead of the wedge base.

looks unbelievably awesome though, and provides a budget custom look. i wouldn't think twice... do it!

                  Here is your answer.

                  http://www.macewenmotorsports.com/subrle.html

only like 3-4 bucks a pop.

I found it a while ago, but when I posted no one cared.

i haven't seen any 194 style bulbs advertised, but i'm SURE if you look hard enough you can find some. if you're looking for something that will illuminate the rear side markers, i bet if you got one of those 1 bulb LEDs it would fit fine... would just take some creative wiring ;)

I just ordered two of the White 4 LED clustered "bulbs". I am going to put them out in the back up lights.

I will also test what they look like in the other parts of the tail light assembly. I will post pics.
