This Idea has been plagueing me for at least a month now!so here it is.......you know how the GT40 concept looks right?what if I get rid of the pop up light system on my bird,and replace it with a clear transparent plasic with some type of lights?but here it goes sorry if the pic is not clear,Iam a horrible drawer [img]smile.gif[/img] my drawing

Suncoastcreations.com used to have headlight conversion kits... I don't know where they went to. They were over a thousand...

I know for a fact they have been done, for 98+ style birds...and yes they were REAL expensive...but I've never seen one done on 93-97 Style Birds...

There is a non pop up light conversion available for Vettes so there is probably one for firebirds. Here is a link to a kit for a vette from Tbyrne. It is quite expensive though, of course all aftermarket parts for the vette are very expensive. I guess people figure if you can afford a vette you can afford an expensive aftermarket.
the kits for the 93-97, well they dont exist. a few of my friends with that style TA, tried to do this, but it cannot happen, if you look closely when the light comes up and down, you will notice there there is hardly ANY room down there, so the bulbs would have to be extremely tiny, and it just wouldnt look right...
But go to a shop and talk to them on a custom job, they will tell you the same thing.

well, anything is possible, but im sure youre wallet wouldnt appreciate it.
