How do you replace or change the Firebird sticker in between the taillights? Mine has turn pink and looks like s***.
Do they make tail-light covers for firebirds?

Check out my webpage on how to do this:

Firebird tailfiller

Check the section that says "Exterior" and then you'll see a paragraph that says "Rear Filler"

:D It's easy to do

I bought some decals from this guy. I'm at school now but I'll get you his website when I get home. And yeah you can get tail light covers. AVS and GTS are the only ones that I know of. Check sig for pics.

I followed Michelle's instructions to wet sand my panel, and mine came out shiney and new!

Here is a website that sells tailight filler replacement Firebirds.

I've had my '97 Camaro for about 2 years now and I just bought a '99 Firebird last week. Not sure if I'll keep them both, the Camaro has some problems (111k miles); the tail-lights both seem to have leaks. They don't appear to be cracked, but I put some sealant along the top of the lens, still didn't keep out the moisture and now I have a short in the right side turn signal! Has anyone else had this problem?

The Firebird tail-lights may not have the same problem in the future, not the same. I also like the ignition key release on the Firebirds ignition ring.... My Camaros ignition lock is way down in the console and has started to lock up lately so I can't remove the key until it decides to unstick.

Hey, Merry Christmas!!

96fbird... I just read your post... I'm a former Hawkeye, I used to live in Iowa too, been in Texas now for about 8 years!

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can order (or even has the part # for it) the filler piece there? I just need the actual plastic part. I have a small project I want to attempt with that and I don't want to ruin the original piece in doing it. I would need a brand-new piece to do what I want to do, and if I find it and get it successfully done, I would gladly post pics of the project

It might be just oxidized...try to take some oxidation remover and rub it on the decal...it could save you some time and money
