  • Zaino users-- what do I need?

    Hey here is a dumb question for you...

    I want my car to *shine*. Which Zaino products do I need? I am looking at the site and I am so damn confused as to what I need. I want a wash and polish but there are too many things to pick from. I dont need anything for my interior.

    Thanks...

    I just found a post that answered my question but do I really need all of those products? Also how much time do you spend total using all of them??

        i got Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6, and Z7, the Z2 is supposed to make it shine more but personally i think Z5 is way better, if you want to spend extra money buy the ZFX and you dont have to wait near as long for it to dry...

          I would highly recommend buying the kit. If you wanna know the minimum you would need Clay Bar, Z1,(z2 or z5),Z6,and Z7 plus an applicator pad. Howver, the steps that I took were...
          </font>
          • 1. Washed with dawn dish soap
            2. Used Z18 (clay bar) and take off EVERY piece of wax/dirt (this is where you make or break your project)
            3. Mixed zfx and z5
            4. Applyed sparingly to the car (a little bit goes a long way)
            5. Buffed off and sprayed with z6 (also use very sparingly) wiped the z6 off.
            6. repeated steps 4 and 5 two more times each.
            7. The next day I mixed zfx and z2 and went through 3 more cycles (z2,z6,z2,z6,z2,z6)
            8. :D Looks like a show car!</font>

          Tip: Use nice 100% cotton towels.

            Thanks. I do have a claybar already and I love it. Isnt it for leather interiors if I bought that whole kit? I use Meguire's Gold Class on my dash and it shines a lot.
