The paint on my hatch is starting to blister into little white bubbles, break, and flake off. What's goin on and how do I make it stop before it starts lookin really bad

You can't stop it. You are going to have to strip and repaint. It is a delam problem. All automakers had a paint problem from 86 to about 92. They changed the way they made paint and it took several years for them to get it right. They removed the lead.Chris Ja<br />87 IROC Lingenfelter motor with a few mods.
