NXT wax and claybar

Can i get the nxt wax at autozone or somewhere like that? Also what is a claybar used for and where can i get one? thanks.

i personally haven't seen NXT at autozone, but i've seen it at other places. it was a rare find around here until about a month ago and now it's everywhere. just look around at automotive stores.

the claybar will remove impurities and gunk from your paint. basically, it gets all the small or stubborn stuff that washing misses. you can also find them at pretty much any automotive stores.

or instead of going to the store, you can go to http://www.meguiars.com and order the NXT and their claybar.

A claybar basically does the same thing for clearcoat that a good polishing compound would do for non-clearcoated cars. Removes excess wax, impurities, etc..

When you use a claybar, your paind feels a hell of a lot smother.

A clay bar removes surface contaminants, it is not abrasive.

I actually meant that the claybar is really the only option we have with new clearcoated cars and that it is akin to the same results that you used to get many years ago with a polishing compound for non clearcoated cars (only without the stripping of a thin layer of paint).

Claybars are a fairly new concept about 5 years old.
