• Been awhile (with pics) ...

Well it's been awhile since I've posted here. I still look to see some of the things everyone is doing to their cars, and it's always cool things. I wanted to check back and post some recent pics of the bird since this is the site I learned most of what I know about my ride. I've made a few changes since I first got it and have to learn even more now though LOL

Anyway, thank you to any and everyone that might have answered my questions in the past and I still think this site rocks !

    Here are a few pics:

Flawless car man, love what you did to your hood, with a hood that cool who needs ram air. Is it a custom paint job or stickers?

I never knew yours was a formula, untill I saw the painted engine cover things, Then I relized that ain't no 3.8.

Anyway. Nice looking car. Your car is one of the few that is tastefully done, you are able to pull off a hood bird, strips and non-5spoke wheels well. Most people **** it up.

Flying High: Thanks man! I had actually thought about getting the raptor hood and using the same graphic with it soon. Those are vynal and are not custom. Although I don't see to many with that on the hood around

PewterBird: It's not a formula. It actually was a 3.8L, but I did a swap on it not to long ago to the LS1. I still kept the "Firebird" badges on the side though LOL Thank you for the compliment. Some actually do not like those rims to much, but I got them at a good price, and they are kinda unique since they don't make them anymore.

Ahaa...I was right, that makes more sense. Cause I could have sworn it was a 3.8.

But 3.8 or LS1 it is a fine example of a great looking bird.

It makes me want to get the WW kit really bad.

NO I WON'T TELL YOU ! LOL Just kidding. It's all good. For one you're not around the same area as me, and in my opinion having somebody want to copy something I've done to the car is the best kind of compliment.

                      I got them from stripeman.com

Yep, the kit is actually for both. I had another guy ask me that as well and showed me pics of it on his camaro. Before that I didn't know they had it for the camaro too. The Trans Am body kit is different though, but the Firebird is the same.
