Cool. Are you keeping the firebird too? What year is the TA you're buying. Is it the same style hood as mine or the WS6 hood?

Yeah I plan to keep the firebird, The TA im buying is a 2000, it has the normal style hood. I wonder how those stripes would look on a ws6 style hood?

Yeah youre right that wouldnt work, has any one ever seen a ram air hood with any kind of chicken decal? I love how the 79 TA look with the chicken on the hood. Like they said "The only car with the balls to pull off something like that."

They won't work on the WS6 hood. They are actually made for the raptor (firehawk) hood. I had to modify them a little to fit on my style hood, but it was not much. They look real good on the raptor hood though. You can see a pic of that on their site if you look at it.

Flying high: Actually now that I think about it I have seen that set on a WS6 hood, but it didn't look as good. As for the firechicken on the hood of the WS6, I have seen a few. I will look through my pics to try and find some if you like.

PewterBird: I had them painted and installed for $350, but kinda had a hook-up with a sponsor.

(You'll have to copy and paste these since they are from webshots. My other site with the pics is down right now)

This is an older WS6 year, but don't look to bad.

                    http://community.webshots.com/s/imag...2LWAtAC_ph.jpg

Don't really care for this one much:

                    Another:

And finally I found it. Here is the version I have on the WS6 hood. Not to bad, but I like it better on the TA hood or raptor hood.

The car is looking awesome, but imho i think you should invest in some new wheels. I'm not suggesting you go with C5's or z06's, but I think a 17"f-18"r combo in billet or chrome would make a huge difference on your car. Of cousre, if those are the wheels you think look best, then disregard my suggestions. Something like this:boyds

Well I do like how they look on there, but mostly because they are unique. I have only seen one other ride with those type of rims (they were not the same, but close) Also, I only paid $350 for those with tires when I got them ... and although I will love to have boyds of fiskes (sp) they are way up there in price.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the ride, and if I didn't want the truth I shouldn't ask. You're not the first that has said "nah" to the wheels though
