what do you guys use to keep these tips clean and how do i get baked on road grime off of these things. or anyone else that has an idea or suggestion.

I bought some chrome cleaner, I dont know if that will work.
Mine is really dirty rite now. And between the Quad Tips there is so much sand and stones, and it is hard and very hard to get out.
I will clean them next week.
Hopefully the chorme cleaner works. -

i used mothers metal polish before i first got the tips installed back in march. ever since then i've just cleaned them when i wash the car and they look fine. the rolled edges turn black after a few days of driving. i went out earlier today to clean them w/ a wet rag. thats what shows when you're looking at the car from behind so i like to keep them cleaned up as much as possible.94 Firebird - Red A4<br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/predatorbird\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/predatorbird</a>Comment

is that mothers metal polish good at getting off the baked on raod grime. i live in a new sub division and there is jsut **** all over the place and well i cant keep my car clean cause there are housese being built on both sides of me so there is no point in it. but it is starting to take its toll on the tips so i wanted to know waht would get al the old stuff off of themno fate but what we make<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748167/1\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748167/1</a>Comment

I also use metal polish. But I also use WD-40 too sometimes. most of the garbage comes off, but the metal polish cleans it up pretty nice.
