  • 97 to look like 98-02?

Hello all i am new to the site, just picked up a 97 Firebird with a 5-speed in it and love the car. I also love the look of the 98 and above firebirds and was wondering if it is possible to put a front bumper, hood, and the headlight covers on mine. I hope this can work or do i have to change out the fenders also to make it fit. I hope someone has already done this or knows if it will work. Thanks!

I hope it turns out nice, my friend has a 02 WS6 all black and i will go measure some things out and see if it will fit. Thanks

They make a conversion kit, but I can't recall the website off hand. Keep searching, you'll find something.

Sorry I could't help more, but there ARE KITS TO DO IT!

I think they ran about 3,000 or so, though.

one of those other things being the 98+ tail lights. and if your car doesn't already have fog lights, you'll need to install the fog lights and all that and run wire and install a switch.

I did it to mine. Just get all the parts from GM, try find a good parts guy who will give u the wholesale price (that's what i did). And get your hood from somewhere else like suncoast creations cause it's a lot cheaper than a OEM hood from GM.
Oh ya, and get all your headlight assemblies and misc parts from salvage yards.

                      good luck.
