You wouldn't happen to go to school at TCU would you? Your sticker on the back left looks like our parking passes.

I'm just going to answer/respond in the order you posted...

Thanks, I'm thinking about just painting my current rims black. I might paint my calipers in the future as well.

Nope, don't go to TCU.

I think it had to do with the way the lighting was on those pictures. They do normally look a LOT closer to black than in the pictures.... BUT... they let a lot of light through. When I use my breaks or blinkers they are QUITE visible. I mean... imagine if they were near-opaque like the headlight blackouts... I would hate having to take EVERYTHING off every night.

Thanks man! :D I'm very proud of my car now... this really is my dream car.

Sorry...Ill be the first to say. I don't like all the black outs.

Close your eyes and think 93-97 firbird.
Then open your eyes to this.

No offence to 93-97 birds. But it looks gender confused.

Please.... explain? Since when are blackouts femenine? (and on the flip side... since when is a car without blackouts masculine?)

he didn't literally mean gender he meant that they make the camaro look like a firebird

Duh, I get what he means now. NAh..... it really doesn't look like a firebird at all in person. It's just one part of the car and if you want to get technical.... the firebird's lights are like seperate bumps on the hood whereas my blackouts are nearly flush and thus more of an "extension" of the hood than gender-confusion.

But all that aside, I just love how they look. I don't see how it's any more gender confusion than all of the other guys who put on their blackouts really....

crasher: I was looking at it and with the one I bought.... yeah... a real pain instructions wise... the black hirschmann I bought is made for like 100s of cars.

See if this will be sufficient for you... I really don't want to have to make a writeup http://www.blackcamaro.com/antenna.htm
