I was searching on the net and I came across this on a message board.
Of course I will mask off the area with some masking tape...
Easy Off oven cleaner is the best way to remove painted pinstripes and
monograms. Apply it with a "Q-tip", let it sit for a moment, then wipe off
with a damp cloth. A few applications should remove all traces of the
pinstripe. A little polish/wax should finish the job nicely. This process
may reveal how faded the entire car's paint is on older cars that don't have
a clear coat finish.
I have to get it off since I already started picking off pieces of it. LOL
Any other ideas?? Someone said dremel or mask off and wetsand which I have wetsanded before and things came out fine... does what I wrote above sound ok?
