I totally agree. I love the way it makes my car shine. You can see the shine so much better on darker cars than lighter cars. It's like looking at a mirror. Perfect reflection.

i have both zaino and meguires gold class wax. for everyday driving id rather use meguires. my bro had zaino on his car and never got as good of a shine as my car. my opinion is that if you have a show car that you dont use everyday zaino is for you. zaino worked for a couple of days for my bros car, but as the days went on my car had a deeper shine than his car. just my opinion i know people love that stuff.

on sat I spent over 5 hours detailing my car. two hours after I finished it was pouring down rain. man I was pissed to say the least. Luckily it kept raining till early Mon morning. In my 15min drive to work my car had completely dried, leaving very few water spots. It looked almost as good as it did sat afternoon before the rain.
Zaino is a very good product. Alot easier to apply than it sounds. Wipe on, wipe off. no buffers, no elbow grease, and it beads up water with the best of them.

My question is, what do you use on your rims? I used wax, but I heard about using zaino, but I dont know which bottle. I just want it to be really easy to wipe brake dust off them.

hey, it rained when did mine too, right after, and once the car dried i used some Z6 detailer spray and poof, right back to the way it looked when first waxed.

my rims? i use KVR pads, and get like no dust at all, so i dont worry about it

i have tried a couple waxes/polishes with the exception of zaino (which i mean to try eventually since i now have a dark colored vehicle).

all the natural carnuba waxes look good but they are not durable. durability is my primary concern since i dont have the time to wax my car every weekend.

i used to like nu-finish. very durable lasted for months. it had some drawbacks. it was fairly thick and would leave wax/polish behind fairly easily. i recently tried prestone's high protection wax. more gloss. i dont know how durable it is since it will takes a couple months to get a good idea.

rainx all your glass too. water beads and rolls off everything then.

the only thing i cant seem to keep looking good is the plastic trim bits. nothing seems durable enough for the wiper cowl to keep it looks black month to month. wonder if anyone ever made a fiberglass replacement that could be painted...

As for rims I woudl use Z2... I did, z5, z6, z2, z5, z6, z2, z6. Little overkill... especially the Z6 but I was aiming for its "Antistatic properties" But my rims were in my living room while I was still pulling more and more times on my stock tires. I wanted to go full out since I learned that zaino will keep the rims clean longer.

by the way 98+ guys I have heard its a good idea to do a coat of Z2 on the headlights to help prevent that turnign yellow problem.

Chaos as for the durability, that is the reason why I went after it. Shine was a bonus, but the durability is what makes it great. And since it has no abrasives you can layer it as well...
